You can do this by taking all the important concepts or phrases from the homework or lesson and make a song or jingle out of them. This is a similar concept to what the ABC song is all about. The ABC song is what is used in practically every school to teach children the alphabet and actually works quite well. Children remember the alphabet because there is a jingle and melody attached to it, so in essence, since children are interested in the song, they end up learning the alphabet with virtually no effort.
Create A Story With The Main Concepts:
Another way to start using music mnemonics is with a story. Similar to “Farmer In The Dell” or “Old MacDonald”, many songs have stories attached to them, and that is what makes them memorable, fun, and interesting. If you are trying to teach your child a concept from their homework assignment, you can try creating a fun and interactive story that includes information from their homework assignment itself. For example, if your child is doing a math assignment and they are learning fractions, the story that you create could be about a fraction family, and how there is a fraction daddy (the higher number) and a fraction mommy (the lower number). You can then add the fraction children and put them all together. Another example is if your child is learning about national holidays, you can create a story about a dog named buster who would celebrate all the national holidays, and when he celebrated one holiday, he would bark, and when he celebrated another holiday, he would howl. Then you would just attach a melody to it. These are just a few examples of stories that you can create from concepts in your child’s homework. You start by creating the story, and then attach a fun melody or jingle to it.
Make Noises And Enunciate When Speaking The Words And Phrases:
Lastly, to start incorporating music mnemonics into your child’s learning is to make funny noises and/or enunciate each important word or concept from their homework assignment. This is a fun way for your child to remember the information being presented to them, as well as have a little laugh and a good time while doing it. If your child is learning about history, then make a noise each time a certain general is mentioned in their homework, and then add a jingle in between those noises. It might seem odd at first, but it works. As soon as you know it, you will notice your child repeating the noises and jingle you have created, and by doing this, they will start to remember the important concepts they need to remember easily and very quickly.
