CULTURE TREND: RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY
Should the role of Woman in society be different from the role of Men?
The equality of women to men when it comes to holding authoritative positions and doctrinal and scriptural belief varies based on each religion.
Have you ever wondered why the Creator created you the way he did? Perhaps your answer would appear if you could see yourself from His perspective. After all, the Creator alone knows all your talents, what your temperament was designed for, and where and with whom you fit.
Humans often determine their worth by how others define them, but we are so much more than the car we own or our job title. The most significant position you can have is to be on the road to your destiny. It is the only thing that should define how you see yourself.
The Creator wants to give you the highest position, as one of the “Sons of God.” Only a few people follow their destiny and become what the Creator created them to be. Of the almost 7 billion people in the world, what percentage would you say understand their life purpose AND are living a life that is an accurate and authentic reflection of that purpose? The statistics say less than 1%.
The most natural question is, “Why only 1%?” It’s because it’s a position you must fight for, and very few are willing to fight, but you need to because there are so many others who claim what is rightfully yours. There are those who will use you to make THEIR life more comfortable or use your gift and talents to profit them.
You can change that by challenging the way man sees you with the way the Creator sees you, much like the daughters of Zelophehad’s challenged Moses to receive their father’s inheritance. There was no one to see them as equals to a man with the ability to inherit from their fathers. It was unheard of, but Moses sought the Creator’s opinion, and when the Creator viewed the women, he told Moses they were right.
A more recent example can be found with Martin Luther King who challenged America by saying that “all men…would be guaranteed the unalienable Right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” All the laws at the time were against Dr. King, so challenging them was the only solution. Martin understood that if he wanted white men to see him the way that the Creator saw him, he was going to have to fight, and he was in for the fight of his life.
In these examples, we can see how the views of others impacted how people view themselves until they challenged their perspective with the Creator’s perspective. If the Creator is no respecter of person, that means he does not respect whether you are white, black, American, Asian, a woman or man. This means a white person is no better than a black person, and a man is no better than a woman.
Humans have created laws because we as members of a society have a need for civil order. However, just because something is a law doesn’t mean you can’t challenge it. You must NOT follow blindly; you must aspire to be different.
You have to challenge what society believes, as well as your personal experiences. Even if you tried and failed 200 times, then you must try 201. Don’t let failure get in your way. Your inheritance is based on purpose, NOT society or anyone’s beliefs.
He only wants one thing, for you to look to your purpose wholeheartedly. To get rid of all the limitations and to see yourself the way he sees you. You are the answer to someone’s problem. You are help made to create. You are a solution. Because You were made in image of the creator. You are a creator of a solution.
If everyone solved just one problem the world would be a different place.
Discover who you are? Challenge societies perspective. Solve a problem!
